So..... I decided to sign back in after a very long time -- Hi!

Ever had so much to say that you have no idea where to start? Well.... that is kinda where I am. I just returned from Sri Lanka and let me tell you that God is so good - there is so much world out there that so many people don't ever think about. People God loves more than anything else and who have no idea that His love and grace is available, rather they feed an idol three times a day who will never hear their prayers or hurt when the tears fall from their precious faces. Thousands of people were killed when the tsunami hit there last year, but everyday there are just as many people dying there who still have no idea of the life changing truths and amazing salvation available from the loving God we worship. Be praying for those who don't know the love of Christ, make every effort to share that love with every one you meet, and never take for granted this amazing gift you have been given. Love y'all and thank you so much for the prayers!

Why do I worry? Why do I say that I trust God to fulfill His promises and provide all my needs and then proceed to worry and try to figure out what "I" can do? Isn't there an amazing verse that says to "Cast all your cares on Him b/c He cares for you" I Peter 5:7? Fact is I don't need to worry and God has proven that to me time and time again. Everytime I begin to try and rely on myself He reminds me that I am incapable of anything on my own & I am so grateful for that. When God calls us to follow Him in anything He is faithful to provide everything that we need - it is our job to rely on Him for those things. That is a struggle for me sometimes, but when I step back and say - "Ok, God forget me - I need you, I trust you" God always shows up and shows out!!! -- They say that people "learn so much" on mission trips and I can not wait to see and experience everything that God has for me and learn everything that He has in store, but I am amazed already at how much God has shown me in my own heart and changed it already. I am blown away by the love and glory of our God - God loves to see us fully experiencing the joy of salvation & it amazes me how much He has blessed me in that!
